Wowowow, this is awesome footage. I love this!!
we have an rov?
We do! Our department was awarded a Trident ROV last year. There is a lot of opportunities for students to use it.
Where do I learn more about our ROV? I'm very interested in that.
Was the volcano eruption predicted? Or did it happen suddenly?
Do you know if the SEA program plans to tie this research into their summer programs? I know I personally have been looking at SEA and their internship programs.
How was wildlife surveyed around and off the island?
Maybe we should do a test drive down at the backshore salt water pool?
Is there any more research being done presently on the island since your work back from 2018?
Do you think that the island could be studied in the future for the impact of marine pollution/human pollution, with how microplastics and larger items like fishing lines and containers effect the new land and lake?
Is the volcano considered active currently?
Thank you for your time
Thank you!!! *applause*
